Cancellation and refund policy

A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract before midnight of the third day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays when the school office is closed for the day) after the enrollment contract is signed by the prospective student unless the student has completed the course and accepted the certificate of completion during that period.

• The agreement in the school contract constitutes the entire contract between the school and the student and no verbal assurances or promises not contained in the contract shall bind the school or the student.
• All tuition payments must be made before scheduling any driving appointments if enrolled in the full course.  If enrolled in the classroom only, all tuition payments must be made before a permit will be issued.
• The school will be prohibited from issuing a DEE-964/ADEE-1317 if the student has not met all of the requirements for course completion, and the student should not accept a DEE-964/ADEE-1317 under such circumstances.
• This driver education school maintains vehicle insurance as required by Transportation Code, Chapter 601, and uninsured or underinsured coverage.

• Se realizará un reembolso completo a cualquier estudiante que cancele el contrato de inscripción antes de la medianoche del tercer día (excluyendo sábados, domingos y días festivos en los que la oficina de la escuela esté cerrada) después de que el contrato de inscripción sea firmado por el estudiante potencial, a menos que el estudiante haya completado el curso y aceptado el certificado de finalización durante ese período.
• El acuerdo estipulado en el contrato de la escuela constituye el contrato completo entre la escuela y el estudiante, y ninguna garantía o promesa verbal que no esté contenida en el contrato obligará a la escuela o al estudiante.
• Todos los pagos de matrícula deben realizarse antes de programar cualquier cita para la conducción si se está inscrito en el curso completo. Si se está inscrito únicamente en la parte teórica, todos los pagos de matrícula deben realizarse antes de que se emita un permiso.
• A la escuela se le prohibirá emitir un DEE-964/ADEE-1317 si el estudiante no ha cumplido con todos los requisitos para la finalización del curso, y el estudiante no debe aceptar un DEE-964/ADEE-1317 en tales circunstancias.
• Esta escuela de educación vial mantiene un seguro de vehículo según lo requerido por el Código de Transporte, Capítulo 601, e incluye cobertura para casos de falta de seguro o de seguro insuficiente.

Refund computations will be based on actual instruction received through the last date of attendance.  

• The effective date of the termination for refund purposes will be the earliest of the following: a) the last day of attendance if the student is tested by the school or  b) the date of receipt of written notice from the student.  
• If tuition is collected in advance of entrance and, if after the expiration of the 72-hour cancellation privilege the student does not enter school, terminates enrollment, or  withdraws, the school may retain up to $50.00 administrative expenses and, from the remainder, shall refund that portion of the classroom tuition and fees for services not  previously received by the student.  
• Refunds for items of extra expense to the student, including instructional supplies, books, laboratory fees, service charges, rentals, deposits, and all other such ancillary  miscellaneous charges, will be made within 30 days after the effective date of enrollment termination, if items are stated separately and shown as part of the date furnished  to the student before enrollment.  
• A full refund of all tuition and fees is due and refundable in each of the following cases: a) when an enrollee is not accepted by the school, b) if the course of instruction is  discontinued by the school at this location or c) if the student’s enrollment was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of   the school or misrepresentation by the owner or representation of the school.   
• Refunds shall be completed within 30 days after the effective date of termination. 

Política de Reembolso

• Los cálculos de reembolso se basarán en la instrucción efectivamente recibida hasta la última fecha de asistencia.
• La fecha efectiva de terminación a efectos de reembolso será la primera de las siguientes:
  • a) el último día de asistencia, si el estudiante es evaluado por la escuela, o
  • b) la fecha de recepción de la notificación por escrito del estudiante.
• Si la matrícula se cobra por adelantado y, una vez expirado el privilegio de cancelación de 72 horas, el estudiante no ingresa a la escuela, finaliza su inscripción o se retira, la escuela podrá retener hasta $50.00 en gastos administrativos y, del resto, deberá reembolsar la parte correspondiente de la matrícula en el aula y las tarifas por los servicios que no hayan sido previamente recibidos por el estudiante.
• Los reembolsos de los gastos adicionales incurridos por el estudiante, que incluyen materiales didácticos, libros, tarifas de laboratorio, cargos por servicios, alquileres, depósitos y todos los demás cargos misceláneos auxiliares, se efectuarán dentro de los 30 días posteriores a la fecha efectiva de terminación de la inscripción, siempre que dichos conceptos se indiquen por separado y se hayan mostrado como parte de la información proporcionada al estudiante antes de la inscripción.
• Se debe realizar un reembolso completo de toda la matrícula y las tarifas en cada uno de los siguientes casos:
  • a) cuando el estudiante inscrito no es aceptado por la escuela,
  • b) si el curso de instrucción es interrumpido por la escuela en esta localidad, o
  • c) si la inscripción del estudiante se obtuvo como resultado de cualquier tergiversación en la publicidad, en los materiales promocionales de la escuela o por parte del propietario o representante de la escuela.
• Los reembolsos se completarán dentro de los 30 días posteriores a la fecha efectiva de terminación.
